2015 Golf Outing Raises $1550 for Wounded Warrior Project

On September 22nd, 2015, the Louisville area Best-One family of companies held their 27th Annual Customer Appreciation Golf Outing.  More than 100 golfers, representing over 60 companies, enjoyed a gorgeous fall day at Covered Bridge Golf Club.  Mulligans and Skirt Tees were sold, raising $1550 for the Wounded Warrior Project.  Huber Tire, S&R Truck Tire Center, and Best-One Giant Tire would like to thank all of our customers and vendors who agreed to endure some friendly humiliation by donning skirts in support of a great cause.

A Night of Baseball with Firestone and the Louisville Bats

Firestone TruckOn the evening of July 26th, 2013, Huber Tire, S&R Truck Tire Center, and Best-One Giant Tire shared an evening of fun, food, and family at Louisville Slugger Field, courtesy of Firestone and the Firestone Drives America Tour.  Firestone representatives were on hand, traveling with a custom tractor trailer which was emblazoned with stars and stripes, and setup to display information about the latest Firestone tire innovations.

Donation CheckJust before the opening of the game between the hometown Louisville Bats, and the Scranton RailRiders, Firestone presented a $1000 check to the local Dare to Care Food Bank, and Huber Tire President Fred Ralston stepped to the mound to throw out the first pitch of the evening.

Fred RalstonAlthough the Bats lost the game 5-6 in the 10th inning, the night was a big success for the Louisville and Southern Indiana Best-One family, as the fun and excitement played out under a cool, beautiful summer sky, and a great time was had by all.  Special thanks go to the entire Firestone team for sponsoring the event, and to the staff at Louisville Slugger Field for being great hosts.
